Princess Bride

Before we watched the princess bride in class, I had never seen it. I was really shocked that I liked the movie. Whenever I hear about older movies i automatically think that they are going to be boring. I thought this movie however, was a really good, interesting movie. I never really got bored in the movie, it kept me entertained the whole time. However, I did not like how the movie portrayed girls to be. I know that things were different back then, but i still believe if you loved someone and they were hurt, you would do everything you possibly could to help them. Buttercup did not do this and it really was irritating. Girls are always portrayed as weak and a lot of girls are not weak at all. Overall though I really liked the movie, and from now on i will be more open to any movie.
